I thought I'd share this with anyone who's playing Monster Hunter on PSP, and whom also has a PS3 and is interested in using the 2 to get you playing that Monster Hunter of yours on the internets like it should be played.

I managed to find a tutorial post by some of the mods on the OFFICIAL CAPCOM usa forums. It gives detailed instructions on how to get/download yourself a copy of AdHoc Party, config it, and finally how to use it to play MH online with other English speaking players. Here's the link.. Enjoy..:

Stop feeding my urge to get a PSP. I don't have money, damnit!
Yeah, I've been meaning to set this up for a while now :D
've spent a little bit of time with this.. Got it to work, but you HAVE TO BRING SOME PATIENCE WITH YOU when you try this out. Not being able to read the interface is a recipe for frustration when mucking around with something as complicated as AdHoc Party. >_<

It works pretty good.. You can use your headset to talk, and even use the Playstation EYE (within AdHoc Party) if you're.. umm.. So enclined to actually SEE the other people aswell as hear them.

So far I've only used it to see if I can successfully connect with other Hunters using this setup, I haven't actually PLAYED yet. I'd like to though, especially with the guildies. ^_^
I agree, should try to get some full 4 person parties going at some point :D
