Hehe.. That's because Patapon (the first one) doesn't have any multiplayer.. Patapon 2 introduced local multiplayer, so -- With Ad-Hoc party, you'll be able to play Patapon2 ONLINE! YAY! ^_^

I'm sad. I don't have a 40ft+ ethernet cable. I can't even use it.. I forgot it required the console to be hardwired.

@Tonysmallz Oh not true! Not true one bit. I used Ad-Hoc party on Thursday night to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite ONLINE with 3 other people, and there was ZERO lag. It ran PERFECTLY.. And everyone was also using headsets for voice communication.

While it is true that my PS3 is connected via wired internet, for ad hoc party, the PSP is connected wirelessly and piped through the PS3's net connection. In truth, I was expecting some form of lag or packet loss considering the weird network setup like this, but NONE of the people playing experienced any lag of any shape or form. Performance of the whole thing was amazing really.

@Tonysmallz I've never had a problem with packet loss. Also, like I said.. if only I had a 40ft+ Ethernet cable.. then I'd be hardwired.

All the gaming equipment was moved into my room, so.. the PS3 used to be hardwired.. I played AdHoc and Monster Hunter before on the Japanese version. (had no clue what I was clicking half the time) Now that the English release is out.. and I can't use it.. I get sad. lol

Ah well, I'll figure something out.

well i have had problems major ones but since the recent firmware with the new friends list improved things very much...
